Ghost Writer in a literal sense!

Ghost here. -No point knowing my worldly name it's long gone from the records. I 'm between haunts at the moment. My last haunt was very comfortable but new worldly types moved in and it all ended in a lot of "begone spirit!" type chanting! I ask you?

As if that really made a difference to me. I could have stayed but I know where I'm not wanted and the new colour scheme...absolutely hideous !! If you truly want rid of a spirit, try ...no I'm not going to tell you I might like the look of your place....

Any way just passing through this cul de sac having a little look around I may stay and do a bit of mischief, may not, can't give too much away that is for others to spot!

You may wonder how I am contacting you you must think this is a con? But it's not so that is sorted out don't upset me... I've got all kinds of tricks I can play on all of these worldly types and I may just stay a while and play a bit....

Ooh, this is fun, just doing a bit of moving pieces around I know it doesn't sound really threatening or frightening but trust me when it first starts happening it confuses people and that is the key!!

Once confused then we are up and running with a bit of mischief anyway it passes the time and I've got lots of that..... I may be back....'Later

A new Wave!

'Nother day 'nother week, Rebuilding still continues, had a tricky moment yesterday, when the builder thought that the explosion that blew the door in and allowed access to our new friends,(the rioters) had collapsed the drainage system for all the local area. But after a protracted inspection and meeting with local health officials and interested neighbours it seemed not to be the case.

I wasn't involved in any of this as it was decided that the sight of me might ignite a fresh situation (I ask you really!) so I was locked in the bedroom.

Can't see what all the fuss was about really as I said how could I have upset anyone, and it wasn't entirely all my fault the first time, when I was reminded of the occasion I caused all the local Bus companies workers to go on strike for a week till I agreed not to use them again . Some people are just petty!...

Anyway had a little walk today and waved to the neighbors tidying up all their gardens. I say waved, mainly because they all were waving at me. There seems to be a new way of waving at people now, as they all had this sort of 'clenched fist' approach to their wave it seems a bit strange but they all did it so it must be the new way!!..

So not a lot to report hopefully something exiting will happen soon that I can tell you about but nothing ever seems to happen around here!

Checked out the news not a lot has happened a naughty boy has perhaps become a naughty man and the headmaster has been away for the weekend...'Later

Home. The aftermath

Home now! Bed rest for the weekend though. Am not allowed to talk for the next few days but I can type two fingers admittedly, but it always has been so, no change there then! Two of the rioter's visited me in hospital which was nice except they brought a gift of toffee which I thought a tad insensitive under the circumstances ( the mentality of rioters eh! who can second guess their complex thought patterns? ed.)

Anyway all's well that ends well we are going to meet for lunch next week apparently the pub where they have their 'club' meetings does an excellent 'plowman's meal' at a reduced rate for OAP's so that is something to look forward to...

It's noisy in the house today lots of rebuilding work going on. The back door is currently being replaced after the explosion, apparently this new one is nearly bomb proof If the previous one had this spec I perhaps would not have needed the overnight stay at the hospital. This modern world with it's ever changing eye for consumer requirements is so wonderful!!

I don't know when the work will be complete but I shall keep you up to date on progress!
I always amazes me how the human body is so fantastically designed one day being trampled and beaten with little hope for the future, next day 'soup' and a straw isn't life great!!...

Haven't really caught up with the news with all this excitement, except that the headmaster is in trouble again, this time from a previous job. Apparently he kept tabs on the petty cash ,and there is some argument about some stuff he should have paid for. It will all come out in the wash!

Got to go that damn cat is on my chair where's my stick?......'Later

Paws for Today's Thought

Hello, family cat here! What a day yesterday was!! A human riot in the cul-de sac then actually coming into our home, the riot continuing there for quite some time!! It's come down to me to tell you about it ( the dog said he had a busy day scheduled cleaning his nether regions thinks he has a 'friend' moved in there and wanted to spend the day evicting it!) . The master is spending some time in accident and emergency at the local hospital after some terribly violent scenes in our kitchen still at least the floor is wipe clean!

Awful day and my basket had some damage so I hope that it will be fixed soon or I shall be leaving one of my special 'reminders' around the house I could just tell them but they do seems to enjoy getting my special steaming semaphore messages!

Anyway it turns out the very cross people who visited got the master confused with that french families son down the road (the Defiles son, Peter we just took his parcels in to stop them getting wet out in the rain!).

Well everybody laughed afterwards when the penny dropped especially the mistress she said it was nice to see the house full again now the family doesn't visit as much! (The master didn't say a lot, gurgled a bit, but I'm sure he will laugh about it when his jaw is fixed!) and it gives us a rest from him ranting and complaining around the house all day!

Nothing else to mention really, there was some tasty looking birds in the garden that I had been slinking up on, now they've gone with all the noise and that explosion so it's back to the cat food for me and perhaps a snooze on the masters chair while he's not here, maybe leave it covered in hair, he always seems to like that....'Later

It Was a Comment!

We are completely under siege here... The doors and windows has our precious furniture piled up against them... The baying mob outside screaming ..hurling stones and bottles against the house..Lights shine into the room, through shattered glass, looking for a glimpse of an occupant US! ...Very frightened, is this the end? Phones not working ..No power...Is there anyone left to rescue us???

How did it come to this. Three Days ago all was well with the world reading, eating, drinking, drinking, (I like that one!) watching the telly, all the normal stuff, It shouldn't of happened like that just a mistake really. When I start to think about it perhaps they have a point perhaps I should not have done that...It didn't seem much at the time..

You know how it is when you get older you just say thing's, there was no malice, just a joke... not even a joke (apparently not funny!) perhaps more of a comment, yes, that's it. It was a comment I feel better now I've thought it through It was a comment...

Anyway now about how this chance 'comment' set about ending the world as we all know it....
That was a strange noise! did you here it? no matter now where was I .. Ah yes the comment .

That was an unusual queue in the Post Office (Monday's are always busy especially since all those closures!! Really this all is something else to blame the government for... ) Anyway all I said was a response really.. anyway dammit it was true you can get cream for it!... Sorry that noise is getting louder I will tell you later....'Later

I came, I saw , I shopped.

Well that was yesterday! We did a bit of shopping! Just a bit mind, in this recession steeped world ! What I did notice is that there are so many 'boutique' type shops. What happened to plain old shops? Everything is a 'boutique' now from shops , hairdressers. Hotels All I can tell you is they cost more!! Perhaps this ought to be a 'boutique' blog is this a first? If it is, it's my idea you owe me!

What else is not important in the world It seems the Headmaster has now bullied a member of staff but he says he didn't. No change there then. There will be tears before bedtime mark my words I hope that it isn't the start of all that bed wetting business again !!

A bank made a loss and still pays a large bonus, which queue do you join, in the job center for those jobs??

A large utility companies profits are over 50% on last year but they can't possibly possibly put the price down as their cost may go up in the future ... Hmmmmm!!

Still can't dwell on all the ill's of the world I have a 'boutique ' empire to create can't be that difficult all you is some IKEA type shelving and a load of strange looking bits of twisted metal that no-one wants and hey it's a 'boutique' ( sounds like any war zone remains in the last century!) 'boutique' wars it's the future.......'Later

Wake up Call !!

What a glorious day! This is the first day of the rest of my life! This is the way to be ....upbeat....on a roll.... taking life head on with great strides.....Looking in the mirror chanting: ..You are that thin person...You are confident... I can make it another day without a drink....
UUrgh! that's blown it I was OK till that last one.... where's that corkscrew??...Has it started to rain??..... I feel fat today......'later

Feeling Better now! There's nothing like a demoralizing surge of depression to purge the soul.
Now what was I going to say?? Nothing really Seems the bullying head is still in charge but he didn't do it guvnor it was not him .. hmmm... Perhaps it's got something to with us choosing a new Headmaster perhaps it hasn't but we know his wife loves him...

Tuesday is a nothing day really It makes you shrug your shoulders like a teenager grunting your way through life. I'm not saying it makes you feel young again, I'm not saying I feel a surge of youth based apathy for life, (maybe old age apathy!).

Still the beauty of being older is that we know it's someone else's fault .. We must rise up my brethern raise that standard!! Fight in the name of all that is NIMBY That glorious call to arms as one we must unite and start whispering in the queue at the post office....'Later

It was the best of times .. It was the worst of times .. as the man wrote in some non news way this could be true of every day of all time. Every day some bits are bad and then other bits are bad, oops! Bit of a slip there!!!
I am sure there are good bits its just the bad bits are easier to remember and usually to a spectator much funnier..
For reason of personal safety I can't talk about the recent bad bits it's not that I'm frightened, I just have a common sense view about bleeding and how it can ruin a perfectly good clothing item, and our marriage councillor is on holiday, she usually checks with us before she goes so we can put in the diary when the next round of verbal/physical abuse is allowed ( a good system put in place by this wonderful PC administration we live under).

I see bullying is in the news again (no link intended!) another playground is blighted by this curse of bullies. When will we ever learn to stand up to these bullies... It does seem difficult when it is the headmaster accused of being the bully ..Nothing new there when I was at school it was always the Head and the teachers doing the bullying as they always had bigger sticks than us children.
In some masochistic way it seemed right then, but as you grow up everything seems wrong. Does that make this PC world our fault. Do we live in a world of our own creation??
Absolutely not!! I personally refute everything. I blame everyone else for all that's happened in the name everything that is PC.

Someone said yesterday that a particular thing was "happening .. more and more less frequently.." with great thought on the delivery of that phrase and a feeling of being very profound and serious!

No I've thought about it a lot and I can come up with perhaps we should institute a license to breed... .. Arrgh now I'm turning PC...'Later

Sunday Hmmm!

The Next day, always a tricky day. Usually it is heralded by the arrive of Soapbox Sal (my other/better ((you choose!)) half). Its not that she wasn't there before it's just a new character (trait/flaw you choose) that seems to arrive to shout/agree/disagree at the televised news it's an interesting time as usually I find myself fluctuating in my views as to who is right or wrong whilst keeping a firm eye to personal safety!

Today was not unusual in content, a thorough discourse on foibles and mistakes of government both national and local, the poor quality of opinion shown in the media IE: not the same view of soapbox Sal, Then finally arriving at the Nationality of our sporting Olympians as to which side of any English county border the should reside! (No I don't understand either.) All I know is, that I survived again Soapbox Sal is back in her mental residence and I am able to live to listen and agree again and again another day. Joy heaped upon Joy.!!!..

Had a interesting chat to a neighbor yesterday when he revealed himself to be some sort of philosopher as during our discourse he announced that we were 'living with a faulty design' huge excitement for me,.. This was a radical concept, I was to consider for some time, maybe even take myself away from the world and just really think about his concept, I perhaps could found a new religion around this, in a way that we as a race understand our shortcomings, our need to compete, our avarice for others property and wealth, man's inhumanity to man.

This was a Damascus type moment for me! At last a reason to be, a reason for all these idea's . I felt almost giddy with all this internal turmoil, at last things were going to come together for me after all these years. I started to glow in the full knowledge of all the accolades that were coming my way, accepting the weight of responsibility of me turning the tide of man......

Turns out he was trying to tell me the drains were blocked!!.......'Later

Hi it's a new day the sun is out (in my mind!) in the empty news world the dog is asleep, the cat did something unspeakable with a feathered friend (no not in a cosy way!), So time to pull my finger out and get this show on the road tell you all about the empty news of the world. We've won something at the Olympics, that's good and some people have apologized for having extra marital whatsit that's bad.

There that seems to have covered it, Oh sorry there is an election in the offing, that's good, that's bad.

That shouldn't happen-good and bad,... that's like sweet and sour, yin and yang all relatively good this shouldn't be, an election cannot be both.. Oh no the sun is going in... the dogs is awake... 'Later

'Nother day, nother nothing! When I say nothing, I've breathed and stuff, walked a bit, coughed a bit.

Considering the state of the world you think it would be easy to fill page after page of angst and rhetoric. Reasons to be miserable: financial disaster still looming, huge problems on the job situation in the world, Disasters, conflict and wars all over the world but the best I can say is " 'Nother day, nother nothing! "

Perhaps I am wrong perhaps there is something, I'll have another look and if the enthusiasm takes me, I'll get back to you . You see that's me all over there's no holding me back when I get this bubbly and exited about things just one of life's gushers that's me. 'Later....

Empty news is born

Hi this is a new blog for my friends and I (real and imagined!) to log in and talk about things that happen that doesnt affect anything or anyone, nothing that changes the world even if it should.

To get off to a great start nothing has happened today! Except for the dog looking strange at me this morning It usually does, maybe thats because it has a strange face maybe its because it hates me? It's too stroppy that one! It may sound like paranoia, but its not. It is real, it has demonstrated many times pure loathing for me, even now, lying in the basket, eyes closed, but glaring at me through its eyelids; its legs are even twitching in unresrained anger at me . Can you feel the venom just reading this. I think I will go and get some dog treats for when the eyes open again I dont want that power unleashing again these yorkies need muzzling if you ask me...
